On the eve of the Olympic Games, senior Cabinet Ministers will host the annual Global Investment Conference which brings together more than 200 business leaders, policy-makers, and investors.

The aim of the conference is to harness the business benefit of the 2012 London Olympics and encourage investors to create long term partnerships. Today kicks off six weeks of global business summits hosted by the British Business Embassy at Lancaster House.

The summits will be the largest and most ambitious set of trade and investment events ever held in this country.
