In London 2012, the greatest sporting event in the world will combine with one of the biggest programmes of cultural activity across the UK. Festivals, concerts, exhibitions and performances will take place in all corners of the country, featuring top UK names and global talent, and in many cases coinciding with Torch Relay celebrations.

The Olympic Park will be alive with artistic projects, from the iconic Orbit to brightly coloured footbridges; and through the Inspire programme, hundreds of culturally-themed community projects are helping to support a grassroots legacy for the arts.
